The Foundation

One framework.
Ten years of mastery.

The most important skill of the AI era is not the ability to use AI tools. It is the judgment to direct them responsibly, evaluate their outputs critically, and think in ways that machines cannot replicate.

Every Luminarix student works within the same four-step framework from Grade 3 through Grade 12 — building progressively more sophisticated competency across every subject, every year.

1
Define the Problem
Articulate exactly what needs solving before engaging any tool, including AI.
2
Explain What You Know
Document prior knowledge to prevent outsourcing thinking to AI before engaging it.
3
Provide Possible Solutions
Generate multiple approaches — with and without AI — before committing to any path.
4
Analyze the Pathways
Evaluate evidence, apply ethical reasoning, and make a documented decision.

Competency Domains

Six skills that
outlast automation.

Every unit develops one or more of six competency domains — the cognitive skills most resilient to automation and most valued by universities and employers.

01
Problem Architecture
Defining problems precisely before deploying any solution tool.
02
AI Collaboration
Directing AI effectively as a professional-grade thinking partner.
03
Critical Evaluation
Detecting hallucination, bias, and cultural limitation in AI outputs.
04
Ethical Reasoning
Applying formal ethical frameworks to consequential AI decisions.
05
Creative Synthesis
Combining AI outputs with original human thinking to produce superior work.
06
Communication & Persuasion
Presenting AI-assisted research and analysis to real audiences under questioning.

Grade Bands

Three bands.
One ten-year journey.

Each band has a distinct student role and a progressively higher level of independence, accountability, and real-world deployment.

Why This Matters

The world is
already telling us.

Every company is going to be an AI company in the same way that every company became an internet company. Students graduating in ten years who don’t understand AI will be as disadvantaged as those who couldn’t use a computer in 2000.

Jensen HuangCEO, NVIDIA

The most important skill of the 21st century is learning how to work alongside artificial intelligence — not competing with it, but directing it with judgment and purpose.

Satya NadellaCEO, Microsoft

AI literacy is the new foundational literacy. Just as we would not graduate a student who could not read, we should not graduate a student who cannot think critically about and with artificial intelligence.

Eric SchmidtFormer CEO, Google

The graduates who will lead in the AI era are not the ones who know the most about AI. They are the ones who learned to think well alongside it — to maintain their own judgment while leveraging its power.

Dr. Fei-Fei LiCo-Director, Stanford Human-Centered AI Institute

For Parents

What this means
for your child.

Luminarix does not replace teachers or subjects. It gives every student a structured, documented relationship with AI — one that develops over ten years alongside their academic work.

Not screen time. Most activities are pencil-and-paper thinking exercises. AI is a tool used intentionally, not a distraction.
Not coding. No programming background is required. The curriculum develops critical thinking, ethics, and judgment — not technical skills.
Portfolio from Grade 9. Students build a four-year documented record of AI-assisted work they can share with universities and employers.
Ethics built in. Every grade includes age-appropriate ethical reasoning. By Grade 9, students apply five formal ethical frameworks to real AI decisions.
Career intelligence. From Grade 9, students produce an annual Career-AI Report — updated each year — analyzing AI’s impact on their chosen field.

For Teachers

Everything you need
to deliver this.

No AI background required. The Teacher Guide provides complete lesson plans, discussion prompts, answer frameworks, and assessment rubrics for every unit across all grades.

Student Workbooks. One per grade, Grades 3–12. Every activity, log, and capstone included. Print-ready or digital.
Teacher Guide. Complete instructional manual covering every activity. Includes facilitation notes and common student questions.
Half-day PD session. Luminarix founder delivers a live orientation before the program begins. In-person for South Florida schools, video for all others.
Annual AI Applications Module. Released each August. Replaces specific tool examples and current-events references without changing the core framework.
Platform access. Teacher portal with student AI sandbox, interaction log dashboard, and portfolio system included with the program.
